A Legacy Film is a short documentary. Through oral history and thoughtful interviews, we help you reflect on meaningful moments while creating a process where you feel at ease, respected, and valued, resulting in something priceless to pass down: your story.

Legacy Films are for anyone who wants to document a meaningful part of their life and story—at any age.

The process is straightforward. We begin with a conversation to understand the story, followed by filmed interviews, and then you can review of the finished film and communicate revisions you’d like to see.

B-roll is footage you’ll see sometimes in a film while you hear the speaker’s voice. With Legacy Films, there are 3 types of B-roll that we use: your old photos and videos, historical archival footage, and present-day footage of you. The team will work with you to direct this portion of the filming.

When the first draft is completed, you’ll receive a link you can use to watch. If you love it exactly as is, the project is complete. However, if you want changes made, you can jot them down and let us know. We want you to feel empowered and in the driver's seat with this project, so we’ll do their best to make any necessary changes.

In the end, you'll have a captivating film where you tell your story in your own voice. We’ll encapsulate your legacy so that future generations never forget this part of who they are.
